Meet Dr. Clark

Corporate Leadership Coach and Consultant

Dr. Marilyn Clark has deep experience in fostering transformative professional development for leaders. As an ICF Associate Certified Coach, she works with each client to uncover a vision for their career. Acting as a true partner, she uses their vision to co-create customized leadership plans, illuminating a path to their individualized trajectory and challenging the status quo to sharpen each leader’s skills.

 

Her methodology encourages gentle discovery of one’s unique patterns, greatest strengths and key areas of opportunity. The result is challenging, solution-based, measurable objectives that result in greater satisfaction in professional pursuits. Her approach encourages leaders to show up as their authentic selves, while championing continuous improvement.    

 

Dr. Clark leverages more than 15 years of experience in coaching and change management at Fortune 100 companies as an accomplished writer and international speaker. Her writing and editing credits span from editor of the published conference proceedings for the African American and Latino Adult Education Research Symposium to contributing writer for Diversity MBA Magazine. Her broad range of subject matter expertise spans HR Theory, Diversity Best Practices and Women’s Leadership, to deliver impactful keynotes, research and workshops that fill organizations with the type of leaders that today’s marketplace requires. 

 

Dr. Clark holds a Doctorate from Northern Illinois University in Adult and Continuing Education, with a research focus on organization effectiveness and leadership development. She received a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Development from Northeastern Illinois University. 

 

She is a graduate of the” Boardroom Bound® Boardology™ Institute” and profiled in the National Director-Candidate Database©.” Fiercely committed to advancing and developing talent, she’s served as a board member of the Chicagoland Chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD), the world’s largest professional association dedicated to the learning and development field.

 

Her instructional credits include graduate level courses at National Louis University in the College of Management and Business, and adjunct professor both Northeastern Illinois University and Keller Graduate College.
